Occupational Therapy

What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational therapy helps children and adolescents develop the skills necessary for independent functioning and success. Occupational Therapy engages your child in activities that develop important fine motor, sensory, visual motor, behavioral, and thinking skills. Development in these areas improves performance in valued daily activities, including dressing, feeding, writing, play, and social participation.

How can Occupational Therapy Help my Child?

At Tools To Grow Therapy, we focus on enabling a child to complete meaningful activities as independently as possible. Occupational Therapy helps children gain independence and promotes development of skills that children need to function and socialize in their home, school, play, and community environments.
